DIY Conservatories try to make your life easy and we try to keep the process as simple as possible. As standard our conservatories come with a Toughened Argon Conservatory Glass for the frame glass.
All frame glass is 4-20-4. 4mm glass-20mm spacer-4mm glass.
All of our Conservatory glass is toughened, not all the glass needs to be toughened but for ease of delivery and the prevention of breakages, we use toughened all round.
You can however upgrade this to an A-Rated glass or a Patterned Glass.
|Considering the fact that up to 25% of the heat within most homes escapes through the windows, it’s easy to see why more and more people are opting for A-rated windows, with A-rated windows being the most energy-efficient. A-Rated glass this would be 4mm clear tough 20mm black swiss super spacer with argon fill and then 4mm glass. A Swiss super saver is at the heart of energy saving windows. It is a warm edge spacer bar which insulates the edges of an energy efficient sealed unit. They keep the panes of glass apart and maintain the integrity of the air gap that insulates a building from heat loss through windows.|
Patterned Glass has the following options: The number in the brackets relates to the level of privacy. 1 being low, 5 being high.
